Luxury Weekend Art Escape

Margaret River Region - Friday 19 March to Sunday 21 March 2021

Redgate Beach & the Boronup Forest

Tour Overview:

The base for this luxury weekend is the fabulous Redgate Beach Escape - the ultimate secluded coastal sanctuary. Nestled in 80 acres atop the Cape Leeuwin Ridge, each 2 bedroom villa captures stunning panoramic views over the Indian Ocean and Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park.

Arrive on Friday evening for sunset drinks and dinner whilst enjoying the stunning panoramic views from the villas. This is followed by an optional fun skills session (focus on composition and pastels techniques) to get your creativity flowing. On Saturday morning we head to the majestic Boronup Forest for our first en plein air art session using pastels on Colourfix pastel paper followed by a beautiful vineyard lunch at Xanadu Winery. After free time on Saturday afternoon, sunset drinks and soup and damper supper is followed by another skills session (focus on acrylic techniques and colour mixing). On Sunday we venture a short distance down to the spectacular Redgate Beach for our second en plein air session using acrylics on canvas to capture the breathtaking raw beauty of this rugged coastal location.

Suitable for the everyone, from the complete beginner to the accomplished artist. You will receive individual tuition and advice on composition, colour mixing and techniques (pastels and acrylics). We provide all the materials you need and you will be guided through the steps to create two unique pieces of art.
