The Magic of Soft Pastels with Louise Collier (MANDURAH)

Learn soft pastel techniques and create your own pastel artwork

NOTE THE LOCATION FOR THIS WORKSHOP IS MANDURAH

Your opportunity to learn the fundamentals of pastels and create your own stunning pastel on paper artwork. Art quality pastels and Art Spectrum Colourfix paper is used. Cost includes all art materials needed, a frame for your finished artwork, and morning tea (BYO lunch).

This workshop is suitable for all levels. No experience is necessary. Children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).

The Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM) in Mandurah https://www.mandurah.wa.gov.au/explore/arts-and-culture/casm is a great venue with aircon, perfect for summer! Come and enjoy the creative vibes at this workshop space next to the CASM Gallery in the heart of Mandurah.

What we provide

$185 per person includes:

  • Guided step-by-step instruction and expert tuition from Louise will help you master this medium.

  • Use of all materials and equipment including easel, artist quality pastels, pastel paper, pastel accessories, rags , apron and frame.

  • Delicious morning tea. (BYO lunch)

  • The framed masterpiece you create is yours to take home!

What to bring

  • Water bottle.

  • Lunch.

  • Bring your own reference photo if you like (or use one that Louise will provide).

What to wear

  • An apron is provided but wear clothes that you don’t mind getting pastels on.  Pastels can be dusty and dirty!

Appropriate for

  • All levels - no experience is necessary.

  • Adults (children 12 and over allowed with an accompanying adult).
